This section describes creation a sample RSS channel using Web2RSS Proxy.
Please perform the following steps to create RSS channel:
Start the program and select "Channels->Add new channel..." from context menu of the system tray:
You can see channel creation dialog window, input URL of the web page, in our case this is "C:\Program Files\Web2RSS Proxy\sample.html", and click the "Next" button:
The program automatically detects the most of the channel attributes, you can correct these and click the "Next" button:
On this step you need specify channel item attribute such as "Title", "Link", etc.., select the "First Item" field:
Select the first news item on the web page:
Select the last news item on the web page in the same way:
Now, select the "title" attribute of the channel:
Specify the others channel attributes. You can see preview of the channel in the bottom of the page. Click "Finish" to complete the channel creation:
Open favorite RSS reader (for example GreatNews) and add a new RSS channel:
Now you can see a converted RSS channel:
